Sweet and subtly smokey. Reddish color - pretty much exactly what you would expect from a Scottish ale. Ron (4095) - Rochester, New York, USA - AUG 24, 2012
On tap at the Crooked Rooster. They call it ’Wee Heavy’. Average off-white light brown head. Cloudy body that was nice copper/red/brown color. Average caramel malt aroma with light hops. Average flavor duration, light moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness. Nice complexity between the sweetness and bitterness from hops. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 12, 2012

On draft at Pony with Andy/James. Pours amber into 8oz glass. Aroma is thin and kind of zesty - almost reminds me of a porter for some reason. Nice taste - zesty, sweet, almost fruity. A little boozy but not that much, or not as much as I’d expect for the style. High carbonation livens up all of the flavors.
