Draft at the Wild flower / the brewpub.
Heavy banana on the nose with some wheat notes. Unclear yellow, no head. Sweet, slightly cloying. If you like banana candy, it smells pretty good. jtclockwork (17101) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 19, 2016
draft - pours cloudy yellow - nose/taste of banana, clove and burnt wheat stalk - med body Ferris (16303) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 19, 2016
Draft - Light sweet banana. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light banana and light wheat. generallee08 (773) - New York, USA - JUL 11, 2014
The body has a pale hazy yellow/tan color. Its head was small but hung on well and was thick and creamy. Lacing was slick and slid down the sides of the tall glass. The fruity banana and spicy clove like yeast notes hit my nose as soon as the server placed it on the table. Under the yeast there were light hints of grain and wheat malt. Its firm medium body and smooth texture set you up for every thing noted in the aroma plus a very mild hint of citrusy hops towards the finish. It finishes with plenty of sweetness and fruity yeast.

Draft @ J. Ryan’s, Syracuse. Cloudy gold, small head. Nose is much sweeter then most Hefeweizens. Still some banana and clove. Taste is malt forward with caramel malt leading to the traditional German wheat yeast. Body and texture is a tad watery. Ok, yeast flavor. Not nearly as good as Cortland’s hefe. Drinkable but I would not drive to NY for it.

Pours a hazy golden-amber. Strong yeast/wheat character on the nose. Quickly dissipating head. Carbonation lends to the "spritzy" mouthfeel and flavors of fruity banana and clove. Three words describe this beer: liquid banana bread!

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a milky gold with a thin white head. Bananas, wheat, yeast on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet banana and caramel. Some wheat but a bit empty. Soft wheat and toast on the finish. DiarmaidBHK (5716) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 25, 2011
Pours cloudy yellow from tap with a thin white head. Subtle hints of clove on the nose. A bit more pronounced on the tongue. Clean finish. Not bad for style. dnstone (3497) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - NOV 15, 2010
Lemony aroma. Hazy gold in color as expected. Extremely citrussy with a tart finish. Super refreshing. rampmaster (642) - Alden, New York, USA - SEP 2, 2010
Presentation: It was poured from the tap at The Wildflower Café / The Crooked Rooster Brewpub. The serving glass was a very tall mug.
Appearance: The body was your basic pale hazy yellow/tan color. Its head was a bit small for a Hefe, only about one and half fingers tall. What was there hung on well and was thick and creamy. Lacing was slick and slid down the sides of the tall glass.
Smell: The fruity banana and spicy clove like yeast notes hit my nose as soon as the server placed it on the table. Under the yeast there were light hints of grain and wheat malt.
Taste/Palate: Its firm medium body and smooth texture set you up for every thing noted in the aroma plus a very mild hint of citrusy (lemon) hops towards the finish. It finishes with plenty of sweetness and fruity yeast.
Notes: It was just a little sweet and slick but overall this is a solid Hefe.
