Cask, Philarmonic, Liverpool. Golden looks with a decent white head. Fragrant hop and citrus snout. Biscuity malts and zesty citrus in the light, clean and inoffensive flavour. Slid down perfectly well and reasonable enough session fodder.

Cask at Haymarket. Pours clear golden yellow, thick white head, nice lacing. Aromas of grapefruit and passionfruit. Taste brings a malt note... caramel sweet, but good hop bitterness. Clean finish, good.

Lovely delicate ale. Tastes for gooseberry with floral overtones. A little biscuit from the malt.

Cask conditioned at The Eagle & Child, Oxford. Gold with white head. Initially there is quite a cereal malty note, weetabix, this makes way for a dry, greenish hop note with hints of kiwi fruit and lychee. There is a sweetness later on which highlights the fruitiness. Overall pretty decent.

Om tap at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a very slight haze. Nice head. Nose - herbs then semolina. Interesting. Taste - vegetal and citrus combined. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly fresh finish though not as zingy as I’d expect from the style. Overall - a solid citizen.

Bright gold with dense white head. Pleasing crisp lemon peel and pineapple nose. Biscuity malt with pithy dry bitterness and long herbal finish. Gentle carbonation and medium body.

Cask at the Botanist, golden with a lacy white head and a floral nose with hints of citrus. Crisp, with fruity and herby hops overlying golden malt. Dry and faintly spicy finish. A nice pale ale.
