Pours really dark opaque reddish brown, almost a crimson , nice long lasting head of foam. Iphonephan (7339) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - MAY 30, 2017
The smell is of dark fruits, caramel malt, bit of butterscotch. Really nice aromas.
The taste is dark fruits (somewhat muted) caramel malt, toffee, butterscotch, and big booze. Taste vs smell...smell wins big time.
Mouthfeel is okay; to me, very thin finish.
Nah, one and done.

Chris brought me this one from a trip to Utah. +++ Sampled from a 16 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a large foamy tan head that lingered left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet, malty and vegetal with sharp dark fruit. The flavor was sharp dark fruits, red wine, vegetal malts and alcohol. Long finish. Medium body. Interesting. snoworsummer (6166) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUL 25, 2016

Bottle. Pours mostly clear cola brown. Aroma is figs, raisins, toasted and caramel malts, and some faint spicy and woody notes. Flavor is rich and malty with a lot of lager yeast and dark fruit esters before quickly drying out to a slightly spicy, boozy finish. Medium body. ogre71 (359) - Utah, USA - OCT 17, 2015
For a dark beer it drinks fairly smooth, Plenty of caramel malty flavors not hoppy or bitter. A bit heavy on the palate kind of lingers. beerthusiest (1) - - SEP 16, 2015 does not count
I was excited about this beer because i love Roosters Honey Wheat. I bought it after work and threw it in the freezer when I got home,(as in Utah liquor stores they don’t keep beer cold). I got it out in 35 minutes and poured it into my favorite beer mug. Even with a tilted pour the whole pour turned to head. Puzzled I tool a pull from the bottle which immediately turned to foam and came frothing out of my mouth and I was unable to swallow as there was no liquid. I waited 20 minutes and the head never settled into beer. I can’t even believe that they thought this beer was ready to market. Very disappointed.
