There was a time when a man could satisfy his every earthly desire for a mere twenty-five cents here on 25th Street. Our amber ale is a tribute to those days past. Brewed with three varieties of hops, caramel malt and a touch of roasted barley, the Two-Bit Amber Ale brings back the flavor of the past.

Deep gold, clear, off white head. Aroma is low, with a little caramel malt. Flavor is balanced and clean with a touch of crystal malt and a little citrusy hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

on tap 7/23/10 in layton. amber brown pour with a small white head. nutty aroma mixed with caramel malt, grass and orange. the flavor contains the same along with some woody hops and a tingly spicy hop finish. medium bodied. it is a bit flat/dead on the tongue though it is fully carbonated... feels like it is missing something... 5/3/6/2.5/13/2.95

I was very unimpressed with this amber. It was just very thin and watery, and left me unsatisfied. They need to up the body/flavor/everything.

Sledutah (7841) - Utah, USA - DEC 20, 2010
On tap at the Layton brewpub
Appearance: Clear amber with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts and caramel
Taste: Toasted malts, caramel and some slight hop bite in the finish
Tasted similar to the Diamondback.

BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - DEC 14, 2010
Draft @ Brewpub: Clear amber, nice head and lacing. Nose of husky grain and light malt, hmmm. Just like the DiamondBack Ale. Creamier though with a bit more hops and the same fruity malt note in the finish.

3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 29, 2008
Clear rust colored body. Up front it’s mostly rich, crushed grains, some toasted bread and some musty mold. Turns more towards some sour mashed grains and starches in the finish. Sour light infection leaves a buttery film on the tongue. Blah.

BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - JUL 29, 2008
Hazy orange coloring, with some light fruit in the nose, sweet caramel maltiness. Hoppy bitterness in the finish.

douglas88 (9632) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 11, 2008
On tap at the Bayou. Pours a deep amber that borders on purple. The aroma is pretty light, perhaps some sweet malts. The taste is dominated by a caramel malt and some nutty and hoppy aspects, also perhaps some odd fruity flavors. Decent.

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
On Tap – Amber in color with a thin head this was a good drinking amber with some good hops flavors. Also a great beer for the place and the state. Roosters is becoming the true Utah beer find.
