Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A blonde beer with a loose whitish head and lace. A good citrus hoppy aroma with pine notes. Spicy, hoppy in the mouth with grapefruity citrus overtones. A tasty hoppy beer and a return to form for Roosters after the last couple of new beers I have had from them.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. The usual Roosters fare, by which I mean a very juicy, golden, hoppy beer. Fresh, balanced and slightly sticky in the mouth. Nice residue on my tongue. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2010

Cask conditioned at The Grapes, Oxford. Amber to gold with white head. A greenish, vegetable hop note to the fore with a touch of sweetness. The vegetable note appears in the body with a thin malty note. It’s ok, but not one to return to. ladnewton (2016) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2010
