Cask Half Pint JDW Fest Autumn 2012 - Golden in colour. Fruity; tangy lemon and grapefruit citrus, citrus peel. Hoppy; good hop bite; grassy hops. Malty; biscuity malts. Bitter hoppy fruity throughout. Liked this a lot. Nice Beer! (2012-10-27)

Cask. Maltings, York. Clear, pale gold. Thin, dense, sticky, white head. Love them sparklers. Nose has some fruity hop. Nutty, sweet malts. Taste is sweet, and light, leafy bitter. Light body. Grassy, leafy bitter finish.

Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 5 Nov 2012. Poured a lightly hazy golden, with a dense white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, lemon zest and straw. Grassy hop flavour, with peaches and biscuity malt. Finish was building resin, flowery notes and some grain.

Cask in Vesuvio, Darlington. Golden with a white head. Quite pleasantly bitter with fairly subtle pineapple notes. Some grass too. Refreshing and nice enough.

A light beer that looks better than it drinks. Tasted during a bit of a session, so really didnt stand up to the other beers. Dont get me wrong, if my local served it, Id happily pop in for a crafty one on my way home from work, but I wouldnt go out of my way for it.

Clear light amber in apperance with a thick white head. The aroma is of floral hops with a taste of bitter hops. Drawn out bitter finish.

Cask at the York Tap. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head & lacing. Grapefruit aromas are there, some light caramel. Taste has a good bitterness and a chalky bite. Clean finish. Decent.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, nutty - pale nuts, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, nutty - pale nuts, fruity, light straw. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130122]

Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Clear yellow gold colour, bubbly white head and aroma of malt & lemon citrus. Taste is light malt with a floral lemon & grapefruit citrus bitterness, and slight biscuit notes. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Quite drinkable golden ale.
