Cask Half Pint – JDW Fest Autumn 2012 - Golden in colour. Fruity; tangy lemon and grapefruit citrus, citrus peel. Hoppy; good hop bite; grassy hops. Malty; biscuity malts. Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 5 Nov 2012. Poured a lightly hazy golden, with a dense white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, lemon zest and straw. A light beer that looks better than it drinks.
Tasted during a bit of a session, so really didn’t stand up to the other beers.
Don’t get me wrong, if my local served it, I’d happily pop in for a crafty one on my way home from work, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, nutty - pale nuts, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, nutty - pale nuts, fruity, light straw. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 
Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Clear yellow gold colour, bubbly white head and aroma of malt & lemon citrus. Taste is light malt with a floral lemon & grapefruit citrus bitterness, and slight biscuit notes. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Quite drinkable golden ale.
