Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Gold, lasting bubbly beige head. The inital yeast aroma dies down to a slightly citrusy aroma. A reasonable Roosters beer, but lacks it’s usual oomph.

Cask conditioned at The Boars Head, Ripley, N.Yorks. Gold with white head. The body has a malt cake character, fairly rich, then comes a tingly hop note, leafy, earthy, citrus all at the same time. Bitter and quite refreshing. Decent. leaparsons (10546) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2006
Cask, Lincoln Fest 06. Golden with an off-white head. Aromas are caramel with spices and floral notes. Zesty with some lemon. Light pine. Flavours are soft malts with lemon. Cask Handpump at the Crescent, Salford 08/07/2001
Straw golden coloured and slightly sweet on the palate. Grainy wheat flavour and not too bitter. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2004
Very pale yellow colour - a little wishy-washy, if anything. As usual with Wetherspoons, it was served too cold, so the aroma was subdued, but a flowery, citric, US hop character developed as it warmed. Big tangy hop hit in the mouth - fruity and grassy, grapefruit and lemon, with the merest hint of dry malt in the background. Finish builds up to a dry clean bite, but dwindles quite fast. A quite enjoyable, easy drinking session beer, but without great backbone and the mouthfeel is a touch thin. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall, London SW1.
