bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear brown colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty, shy hints of roasted malts and brown sugar. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2011
It’s beautiful mahogany-red with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of caramel, roasted malt and light licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel, licorice, and I find a hint of smoke in the dry, slightly bitter finish – a very nice dunkel. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2011

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Slightly ashy and toasted malty aroma with citric hops. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Slightly dark malt-character with hints of chocolate and subtle fruity hops; sweet bitter and slightly ashy malty finish with a tinge of herbal hops. Okay, but not that great. 18.IV.11 Koelschtrinker (22074) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 7, 2011
