UPDATED: DEC 22, 2017 Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours unclear yellow. Aroma is soft good butter, yeast residues. Body is light, strongly carbonated, soft Zwickl notes, hay and straw, but in great balance and harmony. A downer if I ever saw one, super drinkable without getting boring. Wanting for more. (Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 26 Aug 2017) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with grain, cereal, hay and a touch of citrus. Malty taste with grain, cereal, hay, some citrus and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and well balanced. Quite enjoyable. Bottle from SinH4, many thanks! Cloudy golden with a white, frothy head. Grain and grass with some herbal bitterness, orange and some floral notes to it, light peppery finish. Velvet smooth and mellow carbonation. This is a beauty! herrklemann (620) - Graz, AUSTRIA - NOV 16, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2017 Bottle from SinH4. Thanks a lot Stefan! Slightly cloudy gold with a medium, pearl, white head. very light orange zest, funky and a bit peppery yeast, pale malts. Light to medium sweetness, light tart sour notes transported by the soft pearly carbonation. Medium body, immensely quaffable. Very sessionable beer, lovely. jfb (7274) - GERMANY - NOV 1, 2017
(bottle, danke stefan!) slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of grainy pale malts and caramel, slightly green, with a touch of bran flakes, some earth and yeast. flavour is mostly pale malts, caramel and yeast, again slightly earthy, with a medium sweetness and a rather bready semi-dry finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation. probably needs a draught re-rate.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2017 Bottle. Grassy, hayish, a hint buttery nose. Hazy golden, offwhite creamy head. Medium body mellow mouthfeel. Chewy grain, good grassy balance. Great drinkability. Cristobal37 (1351) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 15, 2017
Bottle from Hopfen und Malz, Berlin. Light pale with small ring of foam. Grassy malty aroma. Taste is surprisingly more complex. Sweet orange cream and malts. Finish brings in some hops. Wow, really cool Kellerbier! Would come back to this one for sure. SinH4 (7034) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 13, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 29, 2017 Bottle, my 1000th Bavarian beer. Poured into a Steinkrug, but it looked like it was slightly hazy yellow, with a creamy white head. Aroma is delicately malty, grassy, citrusy, orange peel, a bit nutty. Taste is typical Franconian sweetish pale malts, orange and citrus, grassy, herbal, again a bit nutty. Super velvety mouthfeel with low natural carbonation. One of the many pinnacles of Landbier that Franconia has to offer, this is a true gem of Lager. Can't wait to have it on tap at the brewery soon! 7-4-8-5-17kerenmk (5397) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 6, 2017
Tap at the brewpub. A rustic, hoppy, mineralic Landbier that is super awesome. Like expected - this is an amazing beer. 8-4-8-5-17

Very expressive beer. White foam, hay, grass, woody. Average carbonation. One of my favorite beers.
