3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Coop Kvikne. Pours a hazy dark orange, with a small ring of white bubbles. Looks quite still. Aroma is slightly skunky initially. otherwise.. not a whole lot going on. Light fruity notes, not easily recognizable, but some banana-like yeasty fruityness. A slight hint of alcohol. Some light spiciness. Reminds me a bit of a weissen, actually. Flavourwise, it’s very mellow. Very drinkable, but not a whole lot going on. Not a lot of malt sweetness, not a lot of bitterness hops either.. Some citrusy hops in the finish, but not a whole lot. A little watery then. Not a whole lot of carbonation, light bodied. Should have had a little more of everything, but it’s in no way bad.
Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Greenish yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy and light yeasty aroma. Some citrus notes. Light bitter flavor. Citrus present. Average light bitter finish. Watery palate and way too fizzy. minutemat (5957) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2017
330ml bottle drunk in the middle of a frozen Prestvannet Lake, Tromso admiring the Northern Lights. Straight from the bottle so no comment on appearance. Aroma of pale malts. Nice kolsch taste, perhaps more crisp and hoppy than expected. Not bad and suited the moment. tandembrauer (1577) - Stavanger, NORWAY - SEP 26, 2016
Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours clear golden with almost no head. Aroma of esters, bananas, some sulfur, light bread. Tastes slightly sweet with little bitterness. Definitely not a Kölsch. Nordcore (1607) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - MAY 20, 2016
Bottle 33 cl. Golden, clear with a minimal white head. Aroma of wheat and malt. Bitter taste with a short wheat end. Nonshaugen (652) - Fetsund, NORWAY - SEP 19, 2015
Pale yellow to straw colour, thin head. White bread, citrus and sourness to the nose. Refreshing, well carbonated and bitter. Oily mouthfeel, long aftertaste. Not that familiar with the Kölsch style, so have nothing to compare with.

Kölsch no 6# (second one this week! ;) )
Brewed at Atna - which you can see if you check at the brewery site!
AR: wallpaper glue, wee roasted malt and dark bread
AP: hazy coppery, wee fizzy deminshing white head
F: yeasty, bready, wee citrus fruits, sopy feeling, dry, glue, medium low bitterness, wee herby sense. And yes an ew brewery again .... Holmen1 (6310) - Stavanger, NORWAY - APR 25, 2015
Flaske delt med Ovesen mens vørteren kjølner: uklar gulbrun med storboblet skum. Krydderpreget aroma. Smak av overmodne bananer, citrus og krydder. Mer smak i denne enn en del andre kölsch jeg har prøvd. Litt underkarbonert, så den blir fort flat, men ettersmaken er allikevel rund og beholder sin personlighet. Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 25.04.15. Cloudy straw colour. Bright, white head with large bubbles. Aroma of bananas, coriander and sweet marmelade. Similar taste, with some pale malt. Unfreshness of Kölsch combined with freshness of American hops. Low caronation. ERB92 (774) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 30, 2015
Malts, spices, yeast and some citrus notes in the aroma. Pale golden with a white head. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Overall not a very interesting experience, it is drinkable, but not something to repeat for me.
