Bottle 12fl.oz. @ chriso Post-GBBF Tasting 2014.
[ As Roscoes Hop House Original India Pale Ale ].
Clear medium orange yellow color with a small average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, brown caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, malt sweet, hop bitter, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. My first from this brewery bought from Tesco’s at Chester. They should know better. Bronze with a small head. Slightly metallic flavour with some maltiness in the background. Virtually no trace of hops which is unforgivable in an IPA.Of all the great beers available in America why oh why did they chose to import this one. Questions should be asked. mR_fr0g (13977) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2014
Bottle shared at chriso’s post GBBF minidig 16/08/2014 . Aroma is medicinal berry hop with a touch of resin, and alcohol. Clear golden / orange coloured pour with a loose white head . flavour is composed of nutty, slightly stale malts, chive hop, metal finish. A bit of hop berry flavour as well. Palate is medium carbonation and medium sweet. Pretty bad. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 16, 2014

Hoppy floral flavor, grass, hay, some biscuits, solvent notes. audiobill (2) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 14, 2014 does not count
The worst IPA I have ever tasted. Bought on a whim and it’s a good thing I only.bought one bottle and not two! Really undrinkable - avoid!!

Bottle shared at chriso’s Post-GBBF 2014 Tasting - London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a frothy white head. The nose has light paper notes, caramel, bread, melon. Medium sweet flavor with more mellow caramel, melon, citrus candies. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with simplistic bready malts, caramel and mild leafy bitterness. A lowest common denominator IPA. zimbo (980) - SCOTLAND - SEP 26, 2014
Golden colour. Off white head. Tightly filtered with an acidic spritz mouthfeel. Long unpleasant spirity quality throughout. No joy

12 oz bottle.
Deep amber with a very good head and exceptional lacing.
High malt/hop ratio for style; drinks like a malty pale ale. Herbal and citrus notes.
O: Decent, just don’t expect a hoppy IPA. madmitch76 (26366) - , Essex, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2014

Bright clear gold - amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and crisp. Mild minerals. Airy malts, little creamy sweetness. Hops are pretty light - mild citrus, touch of marmalade. Light semi dry finish brings a little dry floralness. Fine.
Northbrook, Lee, London (11/08/2014) - amber coloured pour with white head. Sweet fruity and malty aroma and taste, citrus fruity, some caramel and light toffee, slight herbal, not bad.
