Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2007
It’s a hazy, coppercolored beer with a rather big-bubbly head. The aroma has a nice note of aroma hops. The favour has a light caramel sweetness and notes of fruit/aroma hops and a spicy bitter and long finish. It’s initially OK, but as time went by it became boring. I guess I expected something more like the big American IPA’s, something in better balance and with more power on the hops... 1738

Bottle, 7% at KØ07. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. Sweet hoppiness in both aroma and flavour, as well as some anis?!

saxo (19522) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2007
Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are mainly hops. It is still light at the same time and very refreshing.

MPA (999) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - MAR 21, 2007
Bottle. Amber/orange with off white head. Aroma of alcohol, ammonia, caramel, hops and some herbs. Sweet, malty caramel flavour with hoppy bitterness going out. Has some positive elements to it but it still lacks quite a deal though to really score high with me.

stouby (4784) - Holbæk, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2007
Bottle at home. Hazy dark orange with a white head, some lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, ginger) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, nor harmonic, more like medicine. Medium body, normal carbonated.

bierkoning (13695) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAR 12, 2007
Orange color. Ginger, anis and grapefruit in the aroma. Hopbitter flavor with anis and ginger, grapefruit and mandarin. Malty with some rest sweetness. This hides the complexity of the beer somewhat. Spicy aftertaste.

Bottle. Frothy white mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Heavy hoppy aroma lots of flower-notes. Heavy bitter flavor, average finish. Oily palate. Nice beer.

thewolf (12804) - Kolding, DENMARK - FEB 24, 2007
Bottle. Pours a muddy yellow-orange with a medium bubbly off-white head. Aroma has a good deal of hops, some oranges and a lot of yeasty feel. Slightly perfume-like as well. The hoppy flavour feels dark (if you can say that), very dry mouthfeel and ends a touch flowery.

Bottle. Unclear light / golden amber color with a very small white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate hoppy and yeasty, perfume. Initial flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter, finsh flavor is moderate to heavy sweet nad bitter with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery.

2.8
Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 22, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Very unclear, dark amber with a small, rough and almost absent, off-white head. Fairly spicy aroma - almost like ginger, but perhaps it’s just the hops. Surprisingly light body, a bit watery in fact. Raw and bitter finish. Not a very harmonious brew. 160107
