Bottle. Golden-amber with no head production besides a few bubbles. Very piney and resinous ipa, quite sweet and candy-like with notes of ginger and with a surprisingly high residual sweetness - an almost syrupy sensation. Medium-full body. This is the first beer Ive tried from this brewery and the first beer Ive bothered to rate in some time. It raised a lot of questions in my mind - why do brewers/breweries put stuff like this on the market? I mean; it does have some good things going for it (fi. it is not dull, aroma - or flavorless) but like others have pointed out (fiulijn, petermadsen etc.) it is unfinished and something any homebrewer with minimal experience (f.i. me) could do better. As a consumer it offends me because I pay quite large sums for beers like this (danish mircorbrew) and for that reason expect a product that is finished and have the thumbprint of capable hands - not necessarily a beer I like (cant like them all). This rant goes out to some other new danish micro-breweries as well. I ended up pouring out the last 40cL and opened a 3 year old Achel bruin that had aged very nicely. Thank God for Belgium.

Its a hazy, coppercolored beer with a rather big-bubbly head. The aroma has a nice note of aroma hops. The favour has a light caramel sweetness and notes of fruit/aroma hops and a spicy bitter and long finish. Its initially OK, but as time went by it became boring. I guess I expected something more like the big American IPAs, something in better balance and with more power on the hops... 1738

Bottle, 7% at K07. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. Sweet hoppiness in both aroma and flavour, as well as some anis?!

Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are mainly hops. It is still light at the same time and very refreshing.

Bottle. Amber/orange with off white head. Aroma of alcohol, ammonia, caramel, hops and some herbs. Sweet, malty caramel flavour with hoppy bitterness going out. Has some positive elements to it but it still lacks quite a deal though to really score high with me.

Bottle at home. Hazy dark orange with a white head, some lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, ginger) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, nor harmonic, more like medicine. Medium body, normal carbonated.

Orange color. Ginger, anis and grapefruit in the aroma. Hopbitter flavor with anis and ginger, grapefruit and mandarin. Malty with some rest sweetness. This hides the complexity of the beer somewhat. Spicy aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a muddy yellow-orange with a medium bubbly off-white head. Aroma has a good deal of hops, some oranges and a lot of yeasty feel. Slightly perfume-like as well. The hoppy flavour feels dark (if you can say that), very dry mouthfeel and ends a touch flowery.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very unclear, dark amber with a small, rough and almost absent, off-white head. Fairly spicy aroma - almost like ginger, but perhaps its just the hops. Surprisingly light body, a bit watery in fact. Raw and bitter finish. Not a very harmonious brew. 160107
