Bottle. Pours a hazy brown body with a small beige head. Rather large-bubbled. Pleasant chocolatey aroma with toffee, roasted malt and a little nutty note. Not much nuts evident though, not sure if I would have noticed if it wasn’t for the beers name. There’s also a good dash of dried fruits, as well as a little touch of fresh fruits and hops. It is rather oily, sweet and medium-bodied on the palate, with flavors of dried fruits, toffee, chocolate, brown sugar, hoppy bitterness and a little alcohol. Slightly warming from the alcohol as well, even though it’s only 6.5% ABV. Long finish with hoppy bitterness blending nicely with chocolate, sweetness and toffee. Slightly oxidized too? A nice, easy to drink beer well suited with stews and cheese I think. (080421)

(on bottle, thanx to thewolf and yespr)Chestnutbrown, beige head. Very much nuttyaroma. Too bad(for my part) there´s some mint too and I just don´t like that combo. Nice, creamy mouthfeel and a wellbalanced taste of dades, toast an canesugar. Got oxidaded and cardboardish in the finish.

[thank you, Yespr]
Pours a nice reddish amber with a great creamy yellowish-beige head. Great lacing. Aroma is heavily nutty with a light peppery edge. Wonderful creamy feel. Flavour is vinious, lots of caramel and lots of hazel nuts. Good hoppy and bitter.

Bottle. A dark red brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is dusty and of chocolate, roasted malt and nuts. The taste is much the same, just not dusty. Medium body with a sweet finish.
