Bottle shared by puzzl. Pours a deep rusty copper color with a wisp light tan head. The aroma showcases some soft toasted chocolate, as well as a sweet spiciness-clove perhaps. Thin body, but the flavor has decent malt character offering some dark caramel and brad crust. Mild bitterness, a bit attenuated overall, but no severe flaws. Received a 22-oz bomber via trade with 5000. Pours a semi-clear light brown colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, some toffee, toasted biscuits, and a hint of chocolate. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of powdered roasted caramel malt, a hint of ice tea, some biscuits and toffee. Finish is slightly chalky, semi-dry, with a powdered caramel malt aftertaste that slowly disappears. bhensonb (15253) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 14, 2010
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a decent beige/tan head. Rich roast malt aromas - rather dark malt. Medium body with watery/frothy carbonation. Flavoer is smooth dark toasted malt. Not at all sweet or sticky. Very smooth. Seems mild. Tmoney99 (14506) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 7, 2010

Pours a deep brown with a frothy off white head that adds a little creamy texture to your early sips. It actually sticks around for a while. Flavor has some nice toasty grain aspects to it and a candi sugar sweetness that is pleasant. A step up from a straight lager to add a little more depth and complexity to your drink. Faint grass and herb aromas. Finish is much the same from that hop profile. Solid sessionable beer. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 6, 2009
Pottle shared by puzzl. Pours a deep dark copper/brown and a thin head. Aroma is light toffee, sligiht diacetyl, caramel, toast and a bit stale and crackery. Slightly sweet flavor, toasty, light chocoalte malt, mostly dusty and nutty, with a slightly slick diacetyl. Mild sweetness in the edn with an herbal finish. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 14, 2011
Bottle:   Deep ruby, heavy on the brown hues, moderate to large foamy sandy head, nice lacing.   Soft roasted malts and whole wheat bread on the nose.   Soft ash and roasted malts up front, but they die rather quickly.   Beer seems a little lighter/thinner than I remember it being.   Its clean, but not terribly robust.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, but leaning towards the thin side.   Yeah, finishes clean and fairly smooth, but just lacks some more depth and body.   Not bad tho. reebtogi (6284) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 11, 2011
650ml bottle pours a reddish brown color with about a finger of white head which settles slowly leaving some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is light roasted malts with some dark fruit. Taste is light roasted malt sweetness with some dark fruitness and a light hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation leave a nice mouthfeel. This is a well done lager with qualities of a German bock and quite tasty. DSG (14838) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 12, 2015
Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks kerenmk. 4%. Hazy amber-brown. Aroma of malt, nuts, toast, caramel, a bit of chocolate, and herbal hops notes. Sweetish flavor, slightly sourish, with malt, toast, nuts, a bit of chocolate, a herbal hops note and a slightly bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.
