Bottle from Paul! Thanks...all the way from England. Pours a gorgeous gold with no carbonation. Aroma is prickly pear, lemon, and honey. Taste is moderate sweet pear, apple, lemon and honey. Crisp finish. Delicious.
Bottle. Hazy yellow and still. Aromas are sweet and sticky pear with lemon. Rummy with oak and some yeast. Flavours are rummy and dry with light caramel. Ripe earthy pear with prickly and woody notes on the finish. Dry on the finish. Fin (10841) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2008
Bottle picked up from farmshop somewhere between Hereford and Hay on Wye (I think) Pours still, hazy and with some very fine sediment. Wonderful aroma of pears and yes the rum is noticeable but not too pushy. Tastes good very ripe squidgy pears, reminds me of really ripe and soft pears strength is there but it doesn’t get in the way of what is a jolly decent Perry, I liked this.
