Bottle. No head (still). Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is notes of apples/pears (with skins), candy, oak, plastic. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture, flat carbonation, lightly astringent, lightly alcoholic. Pleasant but pretty simple, bland, and ordinary.

500ml bottle, takeout from Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Wellington. Pours clear pale gold, aroma is light perry fruit. Taste is light and clean with a mild fruity sweetness. Just the slightest nudge towards its 6% strength with a smooth, almost slick ripened perry finish. Easy-drinking this. ilovedarkbeer (2737) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - NOV 24, 2015
Pours a clear yellow color with almost no head. Notes of plastic, bandaids, faint fruit, and some funk. Feels too flat and the flavor profile isn’t great. Frank (4172) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 31, 2015
This stuff is rather more interesting than the typical soda-pop style cider we get in America but, unfortunately, it is interesting because it tastes kind of bad. It’s crystal clear and apple juice color and headless because it is still. This has certain phenolic funk to it reminiscent of a French cider but that is really the only nice way I can think to describe it. It is lightly fruity w/ a plastic character that kind of reminds me of Elmer’s Glue. It is mildly tart but somehow that tartness still comes off as rather harsh and the around the edges feels heavy and unnatural. It is still as I mentioned which doesn’t help it feel any more drinkable and I am finding myself actually wincing after some sips. The further I dig into this, the worse it gets. After a while a sort of turf grass element comes into play along w/ some medicinal bitterness in the finish. If it is not clear from my review thus far, I do not recommend drinking this beverage though I fully intend to try all bottles offered by this cidery as a favor to the RateBeer community. Bottle. Crystal clear bright golden color, few bubbles that rapidly settle. Aroma of dusty pear skins, pear flesh, applesauce, subtle vanilla. Taste is slightly tart fruit, light citrus, dry finish. Tasty. auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - NOV 3, 2012
500mL Bottle poured at CiderDays 2012. Odd celery salt aroma and initial flavor. Lifeless through. Watery and rubbery. Thin and lightly sweet. Mangey. Tough to finish.
