Dark golden and clear Color, medium head. Smells of grains and herbs. Taste is very sweet and malty for a Pils. Good balanced bitterness.

McTapps (6984) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JAN 21, 2014
Pours out of the bottle in a clear light golden colour with airy head and medium body. Aroma of hops and grass. Taste of intense hops, spruce, citrus, oranges and grass. Very tasty and quaffable, enjoyed it.

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice small head. Starts mild but not washy, fine spicy. Well balanced with some wheaty notes. All in all mild but quite drinkable. Nice!

Moravius (1512) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 7, 2013
Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Goldgelb, klar.

50cl from bottle @ Moe’s sportsbar, Bamberg. Clear, pale golden yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Smells fresh, slightly sourish, malty. Tastes malty mostly.. Tastes like a fresh pilsner. Thin to medium body, nice carbo, high drinkability.

downender (9003) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2013
Bottle from REWE, Buttenheim. Clear gold with a slight white head and touch of fizz. Malty, with some hay, hint of apricot sweetness and bitter finish. Fine.

Bottle in Bamberg on the tourist boat. Clear golder with a white head. Aroma medium malty (caramel) and hoppy. Flavor medium sweet and bitter. Medium body. Quite ok.

Ernest (7888) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of soap and DMS. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Well, that’s two strikes for Sauer...another dirty one here, some hop aroma being the only redeeming factor.
