on tap at landbierparadies in nuremburg. clear golden with a soft white head; light honey and waxy aroma; flavours of chamomile tea and rye bread; light texture, very drinkable Jonb5 (550) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 22, 2012
Poured a medium head, very pale colour, clear. Smelled of noble hops. Crisp taste with some bitterness, notes of straw and fruits. Lots of gas, overall ok, a bit better than the typical mass produced German pils but not outstanding. stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - NOV 6, 2011
Pours a clear and yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, straw and notes of hops with grass. The flavor follows the nose with additional notes of fruit. The palate is sweetness. Overall a beer below average. sfhodense (4789) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - SEP 21, 2011

Delicate lemongrass aromas and flavors colour this Pilsener’s dry haystack, as lightly toasted cereals give more depth to a long, herbal hop finish.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam covers the shiny pale yellow golden.
-This is beautifully dry and supremely drinkable. One bottle is clearly not enough.
-The flavor profile is beautifully balanced.
-A touch of sulphur is found within, perfectly harmonious with the hop and malt profile.
-This won, for me, a blind Pils tasting I had with my pal, David. Simply stellar all around. A close second turned out to be Wagner Kemmern’s Pils.
-Decidedly, I have a thing for Sauer’s brews. Both their tap Lagerbier and bottled Pils gave me orgasmic pints. They are both the epitome of the word süffig, in my little world.
Bottle and on tap at the brewery gasthof.
Pale golden with a lasting whhite head. Aroma of grain, grass and DMS. Sweetish grainy flavour with herbal, spicy and grassy hops and a pretty good bitterness Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2011
Bottle @ Odense Summer Tasting, 2011. Pours clear yellow with a small egg white head. Nose is hay and wet grain. A bit of sweat. Dry grassy and grainy flavor. Ends dry and bitter. Decent. Koelschtrinker (20398) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 9, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2012 Wässrig herber Start mit weichen Getreidenoten. Helles Malz, herb bleibend. Leicht brotig, zum Ende dezent bitter, was etwas stärker als die vorherigen Aromen erscheint. Der Nachgeschmack überzeugt mit stärkeren Getreidenoten. 9/9/10/9/8/9

The beer in the glass is golden yellow, slightly pale, with medium-pored head. Smell is hoppy bitter with sweet flavor. It starts with pleasant aroma hops, moderate bitter, a sweet aroma is noticeable, which comes through particularly well in the aftertaste. In the further course the Pils is very palatable herb, with a good hop aroma. Geiserich (4519) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUL 6, 2010
Bottled: Aroma with notes of straw, malts, sweetness and grassy hop bitterness. Pale golden color, low white head. Crisp flavor, some maltiness and sweetness but full of grassy hops. Dry, light astringent and medium bitter finish. Nice, refreshing pils.
