As lagerbier, draft from brewpub. Light golden. Lasting beige head. Has grainy entry and smells like a Franconian farm, really nice. Pure mellow earthy grain flavors. Good brew. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2008
Hazy golden with a bit sediment and a nice, white head. The aroma is malty, fruity and slightly citrussy. The flavour is smooth and fruity with notes of caramel, and a dry, light citrussy bitterness. It’s delicious and harmonic. fonefan (48618) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2008

Bottled. Hazy golden coloured. Malty, bready and hoppy aroma and flavour. Full bodied. Soft and well balanced. MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUN 25, 2006
(swing top bottle) Hazy, yellow colour with a short foamy diminishing white head. Sweet malty, slightly worty, yeasty aroma with faint hints of hops. Sweet flavour, light body, quite low on carbon. Yeasty and wort-malty taste; sweetbitter malty and slightly hoppy finish. Smells and tastes rather unfinished as if it has been bottled too early. Still drinkable Zwickelbier, but unsatisfying. Have to get it on tap at the brew pub next time.
