Aus der Flasche getrunken (Händlerlieferung). Dunkelamber und klar im Glas mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malzige Nase und auch im Geschmack eine malzig-süße Variante eines Bock mit Lakritznoten.

SinH4 (6124) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - NOV 28, 2016
Bottle, thanks Andreas! Slightly more reddish deep amber-copper color with eggshell head than their Heller Bock. Aroma is raisins, molasses, toffee, caramel, slightly sirupy. Taste is toffee, herbal-earthy hops, a bit of chocolate, quite full-flavoured, with a pronounced bitterness. Oily mouthfeel. The best of the four beers I’ve tried from this brewery. This one is very decent, the other ones were on the worse end of the spectrum.

NallePalle (690) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2015
Bottle, 50 cl. Overall well balanced, small bitter finish. Worked well with spicy fish soup.

TorbenJensen (1548) - Valby, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2015
The aroma is slightly sweet caramel malt. It tastes of caramel to the extent that such seen overshadows all the other flavors. Furthermore, the only hint of hop bitterness and thus becomes a somewhat tame bock. It is simply too sweet, too ordinary and characterless.

Nevalainen (824) - FINLAND - JUL 1, 2015
Clear amber color. Aroma is quite week, maybe some bread. Taste is sweet with bitter finish. Well balanced. Quite good.

2.5
cokolwiek11 (370) - POLAND - MAY 16, 2015
amber color clear beer, 1 finger white head, dont last long. Aroma of sweet malts (biscuity and bready) and a little bit of fruit esters (a hint of plum on the beginning). Light, a little empty aroma, but without defects. Beer is pretty sweet, with some flavors of plum, and malty- bready notes, and some alcohol. Almost no bitterness. Light to medium body, high carbonation, and not hidden alcohol on finish. Overall: It’s not bad bock, I enjoyed drinkin it, altough its too empty for me. Not enough aromas, flavors etc, not hidden enough alcohol.

rikstar (2605) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 25, 2015
0,5l fles kastanjebruin met een snel verdwijnende kraag. Geur en smaak zijn zoet met wat gebrande mout. Niet echt bijzonder.

Beerhunter111 (22257) - P´Castle, GERMANY - SEP 20, 2014
Kastanienbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher beiger Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, Karamell, Zucker. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, Karamell, etwas alkoholisch.
