33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight grassy. Toasted. Bitter and grassy. Toasted and dry malty, bitter far finish.
330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, copper-ish brown colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty aroma, a minimally tart-ish, tannic touch of sour black cherry. (Keg at Pikkulintu, 20170810) The beer poured deep golden and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and sourness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, sourness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A weak and infected brew. Sour and moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Slightly grainy and delicately toasty malty notes with a sour fruity touch; slightly acidic and tart finish with traces of caramel. Red to amber coloured body, clear, with a full finger of thick, off-white head on top, average retention.
Aroma of malts and grains with some sour notes on it.
Taste has also grains, malts, hints of caramel, all covered up eventually by a sour aftertaste, some smoked notes too.
Medium thin body, highly carbonated.
