Bottle, 5.4%. Clear golden colour, small stable white head. Rough bitterness, hint of aroma hop. Hint of bread, not too old. OK clean. kappldav123 (6100) - GERMANY - OCT 16, 2008
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild, is then very complex. A bit dry, the finish more zippy and malty. Modest spicy in the end. Not bad! Ungstrup (37571) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2007
Bottled. A golden beer with a thick off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and grain, as well as light notes of grain. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, straw, and bread, leading to a slightly bitter finish which has notes of straw lingering around. The body is a bit on the light side. UPDATED: NOV 4, 2006 Bottle. Creamy malt aroma with slight hops. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Creamy smooth malt flavor with mild hops finish. Full bodied - very nice. This beer is called a ’Kultbier’ in German - I enjoy these very much - they are great beers (see also Kauzen Käuzle).
