Malzige Geruchsnoten, schlanker Geschmack. Fehlt ein bisschen Hopfen, aber ansonsten ein sehr schönes Pils. Mag ich. Hat Tannennoten, könnte aber auch Einbildung sein.

33c bottle from Bon Voyage, Berlin. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Moderate malty aroma with notes of grass and hints of f honey and herbs. Moderate sweet with a quite decent bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Quite decent German pilsner.

hay, grain, grassy hops, clear pale golden to yellow, white head diminishes quickly, slightly sweet, grainy, grassy hops, medium body, good bitterness, soft carbonation, smooth bitter finish. Well-made but nothing special.

33cl bottle Tannen Zäpfle @ IBC2013. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is pale malts, some grass. Taste is much of the same. German pilsener, bit tame, nothing that sets it apart. Alright.

Clear pale gold beer with a small white head. Light dry palate. Minerals. Dry pale malt. Light floral notes and paper. Some trace of citric hops in the crispy minerally finish. Not too far from being a decent beer, just a tad too much paper.

3.2
Lowenbrau (4799) - Asturias, SPAIN - SEP 8, 2013
50cl bottle labeled "Rothaus Pils". Some grassy, pine and subtle citrus aromas. Pours bright gold, quite clear, vanishing white head, poor lacing. Light body, average carbonation, some crispy in texture. Taste is moderate bitter, dry, malty, some sweetness, a bit spicy. More or less balanced. Nice.

Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 4, 2013
50cl bottle thanks to Ewok on August 23rd, 2013. Pours clear straw with rapidly settling white head, no lacing. Aroma is sweet, mild malt, cereal, nutty, biscuit. Flavor is similarly malty, biscuit, sweet, mild, with a slightly bitter finish and aftertaste. Moderate carbonation, light body, crisp texture. Another generic German pils, but enjoyable all the same.

Bygers (1185) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 30, 2013
Bottle 0,33l. Pours a clear golden colour that leaves a small white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of malts and grains. Taste of malts, lightly grainy, a bit sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
