Test vom 2.11.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,13,14,12,13,13 - 12,90

GoufCustom (1912) - HONG KONG - DEC 18, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013

Pale gold colour; Small head with moderate foam; light body, no watery feel; It has good smell of pineapple, refreshing taste; can feel the pureness of water; medium to low hop bitterness; Mellow, nice citrus and glassy taste with rather sharp hop taste near the end; quite easy to the mouth.

Comments: what make this pils stands out from most commercial crappy lagers is its smooth clean taste. It has a "cult" reputation but it’s quite readily available in Hong Kong. Above average stuff, worth buying time and again!

Pretty good beer which goes down like the perfection it is. Only bad thing about it is the decoration at the top.

Thanks to L&A who brought it from "Faterland". Was tasting this unknowing the style so was thinking that it it’s Pale Lager, but whith amazingly above medium body. Aroma: sweet malt, herbal hops, a bit honey App: very pale, light, bubbly top -> thin foam Taste: a bit sweet , light hoppy finish, light dry finish. Palate: untypical stable medium to above medium body, high carbonation, good mouthfeel Overall: one time drink
