[bottle] Perfect yellow color, with a very dense white head; clear. Aroma is hoppy, with some nice lager yeast character present. Flavors are grainy, toasted malts, nice yeast character and a substantial dose of bitterness. A memorable Pils, indeed.

330 ml bottle in Nagymaros. Bright golden with white head. Aroma and taste has pale malt, slight grain dusty notes, light woody notes and tiny diacetyl. Very pleasant

gift from son Kyle - thanks! --- Clear light amber color, white head that stays, lace cobweb. Taste is caramel malt that floats through medium carbonation to a finish that has adequate hops to balance. Not quite a Pils, but very nice and thirst-quenching on a summer afternoon in Germany.

As Rothaus Pils. 500 ml bottle, served in flute. Pilsener-golden colour, decent foam head. Metallic nose. Bread, hops, gras, metal, citrus. Balanced taste, hoppy bitterness. Fizzy carbonated, light bodied. Nice palate. Refreshing Pilsener! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2017 0,5 l Flasche. Goldgrube Bier mit vielen Kohlensäurebläschen, flacher, stabiler, weißer Schaum, kaum Gardine. Riecht malzig, hopfig, harzig. Schmeckt malzig süß, minimal säuerlich, leicht herb, erdig.

Gift from German friends. Pours pale yellow with a short thick head. Traditional Pils. Wheat, almost nutty initial tang. Lingering earthy taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

From the bottle with a best by date of Aug 22, 2017. Bubbly yellow pour with good clarity leading up to a short-lived white head. Notable sweet Euro-malt aroma with toast and grass. Light to medium body. Clean, zesty sweet flavor that finishes on a higher dry bitter note. The kinds of things that I like about Pilseners.

Foerdifuxx (364) - Franconia, GERMANY - JUN 5, 2017
On tap. Standard german pilsener. Malty, worty, hoppy aroma. Taste of pilsener malt and grassy hops, medium sweet and bitter. Creamy texture, average carbonation, light to medium body. A bit rough.

Heidelbeer (41) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 5, 2017
Head is medium to big size, creamy, frothy white and not long lasting. Beer pours light yellow golden. Aroma is floral, hoppy, fresh, green. Taste is medium intense, some malty sweetnes followed by a grassy hoppy average long lasting finish. Carbonation is refreshing but not overwhelming. Uncomplicated and very well drinkable without flaws. Compared to Pilsner Urquell this one lacks in taste.

330ml Bottle from shop in Alexanderplatx, Berlin (€1.40):
This one was quite an average pilsner overall, definitely nothing special but quite an easy going & sessionable one that went down quite quickly despite not being a stand out in the style either. It was quite a fresh offering with a lively feel & a basic sweetness that kept things ticking along. It’s probably not a memorable offering & I much preferred their Hefeweizen but it was an okay lager & it’s always nice to check off another beer.
