Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - APR 22, 2009
0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Malty, honeyish and grainy aroma with hint of sulphur. Malty, honeyish, grainy and biscuity flavor with medium bitterness. Rounded mouthfeel. Drinkable but not enough hops for a pilsener.

Yellow colored with little yellow head. Mildly hopped aroma with slightly fruity note, aftertaste turns to lemony and slightly watery. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is similar with some lemon and mild hops, rather mild but clean one still. Aftertaste lasts with lemon still. Mild pilsener.

The bottle looks a bit old. The beer in the glass is very zippy, but there’s not much foam. The beer starts vapid, turns then spicy. Fine wheaty finish, well balanced. Tastes better than it looks!

asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 31, 2008
[bottle] Very crisp malt aroma with pleasant noble hops that dominate the aroma. Clear orange-gold with a patchy white film. Pleasant hops flavour that overpowers the crisp malt Nice residual sweetness that balances with generous carbonation. However, the finish has a slightly unpleasant bite that may be astringent tannins.

500 ml bottle: poured clear yellow with a big white head. Mild hop aroma and hints of grape. Flavor is the same. Light grape with a light mix of hops and malt. I thought this was a nice pilsener.
