Chelmsford Beer Festival. Hazy amber beer. Good bubbly white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Nice fine minerally carbonation. Light malt base, semi sweet. The Admiral hops are floral with mild citrus and a little peel. Finishes light and crispy. Refreshing ale.
Cask conditioned handpump Barley Mow Brighton 21/05/12. A copper coloured beer with a tight white head and lacing. A biscuity malty nose. Dry bitterness in the mouth. Verging on harsh biscuit and lacking evident hop profiles. harrisoni (18577) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2009
Cask gravity at 1st K&ES Railway BF 2009. Hazy old gold with thin beige head. Not a huge aroma, some hop. Not bad, could do with being a bit more hoppy, but decent balance, masks the strength well. Hops come through more as you dirnk it. Bit of lime on the hop. Could be good if you gave it a day and it was stored at a colder temperature.
