It is, by far, the best low alcohol IPA I have tasted. Seems most of the low alcohol (below 6%) IPAs lack taste and aroma, but this one tastes and smells like a REAL IPA. I will definitely buy some of this and use it as a staple.

Pours a golden-orange colour, with a medium head that fades soon, leaving a crown and a good lace. Aroma of fresh hops, resines, citric notes. Medium body, fizzy carbonation. Taste of citrics, resines, herbs, caramel notes.

Orange body white head some lacing. Dry resinous aroma. The taste is very dry, not particularly bitter or flavourful. Maybe some notes of dry grapefruit pith. Okay.

Bottle. Yellow in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of mowed weeds, lemon peel and black peppercorns. Flavors are of crisp pale malt, lemon, and minerals. Light bodied and tongue drying. Decent, but a little simplistic.

A nice session ipa. Pours a light peach colour with lacing. Aromas of dank hops. Similar flavours. Well balanced and easy to drink.

An average session IPA. No hop nose however. Ok mouthfeel bitter bite and grain. Thin fading head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2016 Appearance: hazy pale gold with two fingers of growing fluffy white head, excellent retention and patchy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: piney resin, caramel malt, light floral and tropical fruit. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, short duration moderately bitter finish. (4/5) Very similar to the grapefruit version I reviewed previously, which is to say a very nice session IPA, that actually opens and improves upon warming. The grapefruit version didnt come across as thin or watered-down, but this does, if only just a little. It still works well as a low ABV implementation of American IPAs, but the grapefruit really helped, and its absence is definitely noticeable. (15/20)
