16oz can pours a clear golden/orange with a small khaki head. Fruity tropical hop aroma with sweet caramel malt. Taste is mildy fruity with caramel malt, watery. Not offensive but pretty bland and boring.

Bottle; poured a darker orange color with a khaki colored head. Aroma of earth, xitrus, pine resin. Nice caramel backbone, earthy and resin. A very solid beer.

16oz can shared by Ben. Filtered orange-tan. Foamy white head. Rather classic US IPA. Has a nice orange tone in the hops. Nice depth there. Toasty English malt and yeast. Easy going. Good.

16 oz can poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit zest, pine and tangerine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit zest, light pine and a hint of earthiness with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Trade with RobertDale-16oz can. Pours rich lt tan-amber. Pleasant nose-pine/citrus zest-lemon, cramel-lt/med malt. T-dank resin/lemon hops, carmel-lt/med malt. Not overly bitter, more late addition/dry hops provide a nice hop flavor and aroma. As it warms, lemon changes to orange.

Reasonably good. Above average piney and citrus hop aroma. Average copper color with a white head. Weighted palate but not overbearing. Strong carbonation, which enhanced the bitterness. Harsh bitterness up front that subsides and gives way to a moderate malt sweetness. Decent but not overly unique.

16oz tallboy via trade extra. Pours a clear light amber with almost no head, even when poured aggressively. Aromas of a little soap and a lot of pine. Some citrus. Very low carbonation and pretty passive hops make this highly chuggable and slightly refreshing, but not aggressive or bold at all. Taste is bitter and semi sweet. Flavors of some tropical fruit, some pine bark. Finish is limp and watery. Meh. I mean, there’s nothing bad about it but not much good either. Flaccid is the best way to describe it.

Draft - Spicy orange with a dank hop profile. Clearish copper with a thin white head. Dank, leafy, vegative hops with a mellow persistent bitterness. Nice.

Can thanks to WillRunForBeer. Pours a murky orange-brown color with a small foamy head that quickly fades. Aroma suggests more of a malty IPA. Lots of caramel and toffee mixed in with the pine and juicy citrus. Tastes sugary sweet up front with a moderate bitterness in the finish. Juicy citrus, pine, caramel, and grapefruit peel. Medium body. Mouthfeel is a little syrupy. Pretty solid but more caramel and malt than I usually like in my IPA’s.

mcberko (18998) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 6, 2014
500mL can, pours an opaque orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out pine, resinous hops, and caramel malts. Flavour brings out loads of piney hops, loads of resin, and a nice big caramel malt backing. Not too much sweetness, with ample hoppiness. Very nicely assembled IPA, better than its current ratings suggest.
