Bottled. Pale yellow colour with a mediumsized white head, which vanishes rather fast. Aroma is metallic, some grains, mild toffee as well as some grassy and cardboardy notes. Flavour is cardboard, grass, some grains, mild herbs as well as some mild metallic notes. markextrae (4586) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - NOV 22, 2013
back log had this beer many times during the carnaval season of 2009 i think. they made this beer for rowwen heze festivals (where they throw beer in the air during the concert) SVD (2268) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 21, 2013
backlog: drank it when I didn’t rate beer, therefore I give this beer the average rating. Straling (363) - Hoensbroek, NETHERLANDS - JUN 22, 2009
I had this beer a few years ago, it was the first beer I drank at legal drinking age.
I can’t rate this fair because I can’t really remember it, just adding it for my own statistics.
My rating will be the average rating. TBone (18558) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 28, 2006

Pale golden color, decent white head. Quite strong Saaz-hops in the aroma. Suprisingly Saaz is not dominating in flavor: sticky bitter, quite malty, fresh hopping picks up more in the finish. Drinkable, but a bit unbalanced to be a really good beer.
nice pilsener made by gulpener, the guys of rowwen héze,..a band from the village america !... south limburg,.. had some commonts on the beer, and its well nice full aroma bottem, medium bitterness.
good product. JeWeA (1) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 12, 2005 does not count
Fits the Tex-Mex image of this band as a glove. Ravashing excitement after every gulch. Flows down the hedge like milk in a newly born. Bottled excitement at its best. Natural ingredients guarantee an absolute hangover-free evaluation. Beer as it should be. Don’t f*ck with Limbos (and their beers)! bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 9, 2005
Soft hops and orange aroma. Somewhat skunky, only very light hopbitter flavor with hints of orange and cardboard. Very fruit aftertaste. Disappointing. I like the music of Rowwen Heze, but not the beer. NoiZe (2394) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - JUL 17, 2005
Rowwen Hèze Bier has got a nice bottle with several different back-labels. Aroma is alcoholic. Clear golden coloured with a lot of bubbles. Bitter and hoppy taste. Very fresh and very standard pilsener. Reminds me of Gulpener itself.
Hopefully Rowwen Hèze won’t throw these bottles into the crowd.. caesar (7397) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2005
Nice bottle about a band from the south of the Netherlands. Usually during their gigs, people order beer, and throw it directly into the dancing crowd without taking a sip. So, you will definitely get a wet t-shirt..
