Ligth clear golden ruby color with a small white head. Aroma is inviting, light corn, sweet fruit and watermelon. Taste is light and sweet, watermelon, and some smooth grain. Nice and drinkable. Damico (3146) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2009
Wow - when this beer arrives it actually has a big sweet wedge of watermelon sticking right on the pint glass. I was secretly hoping this would be the case but did not disclose it to other members of my male gender. This fruit beer has a medium tan lager color and looks quite refreshing in comparison to thick, dark lambics. In the middle of August heat, this is the perfect refreshing beer to cool you down when you are heading from the church to the reception as you are boiling in your suit and tie. It tastes like a true, smooth, bottom-fermented lager with a slightly sweet, watermelon aftertaste. Even those beer fans who aren’t keen on lambics would truly enjoy one of these beers on a hot summer day. alobar (3966) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2009
Dark brown color with a slightly off white foamy head. Some carbonation present. Mild aroma of watermelon and grain/ wheat. Flavor of wheat, malts and watermelon. Might be the most different beer I’ve tasted in a long time. BeerGestapo (754) - Mt.Joy, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2008
Brewed in the USA !!! (KSBF) Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma of light watermelon and some malts. Taste is much of the same with the addition of grains. Overall, It was very mild but could be nice on a sunny day. TheCaptain (613) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2008
KSBF 08-Poured a pale gold color thin white head. Light watermelon aroma which carries into the pallet. Lightly malted and a bit of hops. Smooth-crisp and refreshing. Not bad for a fruit beer.

Draft at Capone’s, pours a cloudy blonde color with a thin white head, aroma of melon and the taste is the same, fairly thin mouthfeel. This is different but not that great. I got sick of it pretty fast. egajdzis (6830) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 29, 2008
[Draft @ Capones] Poured a murky pink color with a small, pinkish white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of watermelon and toasted malts. Taste of sweeter watermelon, more toasty malts, grains, and a dry, crisp, clean finish. Really nice summertime brew, and the best watermelon beer i’ve had. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - AUG 25, 2008
on tap-pours a big creamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is watermelon. Taste is watermelon, sweet grain/light malt, secondary continental hops (Hallertau). OK effervescence. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2008
Draught @ Capone’s: Sweet aroma of malts. Poured gold in color with a dense white head. Clear. Sparkling. Tastes of watermelon and pale malts. Light body. Thin, watery texture. Average carbonation. Artificially sweet watermelon finish. afireinside96 (923) - Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 19, 2008
On tap at Capone’s. Clear golden color with a small white head. Smells and tastes like a standard golden lager with just a hint of watermelon showing up to let you know that it is there. Nicely balanced, not too sweet, not too much fruit. Very refreshing.
