Disappointment, it would never be able to reach the quality of the blue version, because this tastes like a candy shop mixed up with pilsener.

Marthinus (276) - DENMARK - DEC 5, 2008
sweet danish tradtitional, white head and malty aroma. Nostalgia is a character here.

Bov (13004) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 26, 2013
courtesy of Antonio Ruiz - translucide reddish-amber beer with a persistent white foam; aroma of flowery hops with hints of berries; subtle carbonation and soft palate, creamy, moderate malt backbone; low bitterness and a pretty long grassy and flowery aromatic hoppy finish

karsten (240) - odense, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2003
Light amber coloured. Sweet, malty, round and mild nose and flavour. Medium-bodied. Ok balance. Alcohol content 5.6 %.

Golden colour nice and sweet with a malty tast some note of caramel.Good and easy to drink.

Hansen (8601) - Assentoft, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2002
Well, the must of all Danish x-mas beers. Has an unmatched sweetness in the taste. The aroma is, however, sour and too yeasty.

Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2002
Pretty well-balanced and harmonic. A pretty regulary Danish Christmas brews. Not as heavy and alcoholic as the blue version.

stouby (4692) - Holbæk, DENMARK - JAN 6, 2005
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2005 Bottle, at home. Dark amber beer with white head, quickly gone. Aroma moderate malty of corn and caramel, light hops. Bitter and sweet flavor. OK Christmas beer.

Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Light brownish head with a pretty, lacing head. Very malty in both aroma and flavour, notes of caramel too. Rather sweet but never sticky. Discreet bitterness. Years ago this was the main alternative to Tuborgs Christmas beer - and always my preferred one. 230100
