On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Crisp grain on the nose, soft malt, a touch of crackers. Medium-bodied, crackers, soft grain. Slow crisp bitterness into the finish, a touch of cracker, grain, light dusty hop.

"a decent enough version of a euro style pils. clean and earthy, with some grassy hops and light malt in the aroma and flavor. if i was in the mood for a pilsner, i may order again, but they have better beers."

On tap at the brewpub. You really cannot beat a well made, fresh pilsner consumed at the source. This one pours golden with a very nice white head. The aroma is grainy with hints of lemon peel and noble hops. The flavor is outstanding. Nice and crisp with potent earthy hops that remind me a little of a eucalyptus grove. The finish is very strong. Theres some nice European sourced pilsner malt complexity as well without a hint of sweetness. Very dry and enjoyable. Nice job!

Tap at the brewpub. Pours gold with little head. Slight floral/grassy hop aroma. Flavor is mildly bready and there’s enough noble/grassy bitter to make it pleasant. Bitter lingers into the finish. Washed down the chili right well.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ. All in all, a rather good beer. For the czech pilsener style, the malt seemed a little too strong and leaned a bit too much toward a caramel sort of flavor. Other styles comments? The hops also seemed strong for the style. That said, I liked the beer. Strong, crisp hop flavor against a caramel-y and slightly grainy body. Possibly a touch of vegetal notes (I’d need to try it again..wasn’t really concentrating..might have imagined it). Finishes decently dry. Not super complex, but pleasant, refreshing and tasty. Maybe not stylistically good, but good, nonetheless.

On tap at the brewery. This blonde beer poured with a thin off-white head and a light floral aroma. It’s slightly sweet with just enough hop bitterness. It’s not bad for a pilsner.

4 oz. sample @ brewpub - pale gold and clear, but pretty fizzy going down; aromas mainly of yeast, some sweet hops and banana; earthy too; drinks sweet and dry; one the bland side overall with slight spice in the finish

Brisk, watery and Corona-ish. Nose is yeast, a metallic smell and light hop. Pours yellow with not much head.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2008 I had this on tap. It’s a nice, aromatic pilsner. It is golden with a fairly good white head that lasts a bit. It has aromatic grain and light bread in aroma and flavour with mostly citrusy hops backed up with some grassiness. The light sweetness accents the dominant but smooth bitterness and it has a strongly aromatic grain finish after the hop bite. It’s nice and reminiscent somewhat of Moonlight Reality Czech, although not quite up to that level to me.
