bottle thanks to bhensonb. poured amber with a white head. aroma was citrus, grain, and grapefruit. flavor was much the same. light body with super high carbonation. DYCSoccer17 (3705) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 5, 2010
22 ounce bottle purchased from the Davis Food Co-Op. Aroma is earthy and a bit spicy with some hop notes. Most notably, there is a fair amount of sweet candy sugars present, too. Mildly hazy amber-copper body present with a small-medium khaki head present. Starts quite fizzy and rather carbonated. There actually seems to be a bit of a tart infection present, leading to the excessive fizziness. Has some nice chewy maltiness in the middle, before this finishes herbal and bitter with hops. I will need to re-visit this beer with a better bottle. Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 26, 2010
22oz bottle from BevMo. Pours a mostly clear deep copper color with a creamy off white head. Nose is mostly citrus hops and cereal grain. Lightly bitter on the finish, a touch of metallics in there as well. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Sampled on 10/23/2010. This ESB/Bitter pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Very large sized white rocky foamy head, with long lasting retention and good lacing. The aroma is fruity, hoppy and slightly sweet. A medium bodied ESB. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Nice carbonation. This bottle might be a little old, there is a touch of tartness and sourness at the finish that probably should not be there. Still drinkable and only noticeable as it warms. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Draught at Squaw Valley. hazy amber color with a small head. The aroma has a decent amount of spicy, piney hops and a touch of caramel. Dry and piney flavor overall with some toasty caramel for balance. Not to much malt really, and clean in the finish. Medium bodied and surely over-carbonated for the style. Like the IPA, this is respectable but I just don’t really dig the recipe here; too hoppy in an awkward way, and the mouthfeel needs rounding.

Bomber from Taylor’s Market (label states 5.3%). Pours copper with a modest beige head and a pleasant toffee aroma There is a carbonated caramel malt flavor with sustantial, but subtle hop bitterness. A nice brew. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - JUN 6, 2010
Pretty impressive beer. I have been looking for a roster of session beers and this one is on it. Good amount of hops to keep the palate awake and a nice balance of malt. Pretty amber color and good price point.
