Sample at the brewpub on 8/7/10. Clear amber pour with a thick frothy beige nitro head. Dank malt nose with some light bitter hops. Sweet and dank malt flavor up front followed by caramel and an earthy hop finish.

10 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. Nitro. Lightly sweet, doughy metallic aroma. Some doughy malts and a little spice hop character is there. Transparent golden body with a nice creamy, foamy, soft off-white head; Very creamy nitro body with good chewy caramel and toasted malts. Slightly astringent. Finishes with grassy, light herbal hop flavors and lingering toastiness. Really tasty session brew!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy gold with a decent off-white head and a light floral aroma. There is a thin caramel malt flavor that is a little nutty, and a slightly bitter finish.

baraciisch (3340) - California, USA - DEC 23, 2009
Caramel, english malt aroma... Copper colored... Thin white nitrogenous head.. Flavor is lightly malty, kind of watery, with a hint of English hops on the finish... Not terribly bitter, decent representation of the style...

bhensonb (15616) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Tap at the brewpub. (4.1%) Aroma is roast malt and light floral hop. Medium amber pour with a creamy beige head. Medium body with firm carbonation. Flavor is roasted malt with rather floral hop. Finishes creamy and reasonably bitter. Pale ale/ESB? I’d vote ESB. And the name is Goldfinger Bitter. Go figure. Good session beer. Went well with habanero sausage.
