First brewed in 2008 for batch # 3,000. This is our version of a Double India Pale Ale. This year we used almost 900 lbs of English pale malt, and over 40 lbs of hops in a 10 barrel batch. A nice golden color with aromas of pine, citrus and some earthy spicy notes. This is what hop lovers dream about. Get hopped up on the sauce.!

Benzai (15486) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2016
Bottle @ home. Hazy light orange color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, some fruit hops and some grapefruit. Taste malts, hops, some fruit hops, light pine, lightly grapefruit, grapefruit bitter, bitter and a slight hint of citruspeel. Medium body, sticky texture, medium arbonation. Solid DIPA.

Braudog (6677) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - APR 17, 2016
Bottle. Ruddy orange, with an even, earthy aroma. This drinks with a thick malty base, almost syrupy. The little bit of rustic bitterness of hops merely floats on the wavetops. (#6169, 4/17/2016)

dojken (532) - SWEDEN - MAR 25, 2016
Flaska. Doftar starkt av tall o en lite fruktig doft. Smaken tydligt av persika o päron. Riktigt krämig i munnen med en bra beska. En härlig dipa. Roligt att få en god öl på långfredagen.

CloakedDagger (2454) - - FEB 22, 2016
Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a hazy goldem with a white head. 8.2% ABV in this version. Nose has some perfumy hops. Rich, malty body - perhaps more fruity than malty. Soft on the palate, solid late bitterness. Ok, but naturally lacks crispiness in the hops. 220216

j12601 (11151) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - FEB 14, 2016
Bottle at the hotel with my wife, NYE 2015. Pours a faintly hazed gold with a thin white head. Big citrus on the nose, a bit of cool hops and caramel. Medium-bodied, icy grapefruit, slow alcohol. Slow grapefruit into the finish.

nicolash (2) - DENMARK - FEB 13, 2016 does not count
Bottle. Pours a nice cloudy orange/amber color, with a small off-white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, floral and a little peach. Taste has an initial sweet mix of grapefruit and pine, that is quickly overpowered by the massive hops that stays as a bitter aftertaste.

VinegarStroke (421) - Napa, California, USA - JAN 24, 2016
22 Oz: not the lift or balance for me. A little green and lacks what I’m looking for in a DIPA.

Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - JAN 7, 2016
Clear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of grapefruit, citrus, American hops, dry and weak sweets. A flavor of hops, citrus, bitter and grapefruit. Small notes of sweets.

Tognetta (951) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - JAN 4, 2016
Âmbar translúcida, espuma amarelada de boa formação e persistência, aspecto cremoso. Aroma lupulado tendendo para o caramelado e herbal. Paladar de médio amargor e leve dulçor. Corpo e carbonatação médios, transparece os 8.2%. No aftertaste aparece mais o resinal, álcool, amargor médio persistente. Gostei, mas achei desequilibrada.
