First brewed in 2008 for batch # 3,000. This is our version of a Double India Pale Ale. This year we used almost 900 lbs of English pale malt, and over 40 lbs of hops in a 10 barrel batch. A nice golden color with aromas of pine, citrus and some earthy spicy notes. This is what hop lovers dream about. Get hopped up on the sauce.!

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2015 Cloudy amber, small offwhite head. Piney hop aroma, sweet grapefruit. Caramely flavour with strong, piney bitterness. Slightly bready with some sweetness to balance the lasting bitterness. Soft mouthfeel, low carb. Nice.

Bottle from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - pours amber with a white head. Aroma and taste comprises sweet tropical fruits, peach, grapefruit, tangerine, solid sticky sweet malty backbone, caramel and toffee sweetness, resinous hoppy, pine needles, good mouthfeel, nice spicy hop bite into the bitter finish. Good stuff.

What a strange beer. An excellent and intense grapefruit aroma. The body is hoppy with some fruit but the finish? The finish is so chalky I can’t drink it.

12 oz bottle. Clear amber, thick white head, sticky lace.
Dank, earthy, piney citrusy hop aroma, with some light sweet biscuty and caramel malt.
Lots of hops in the flavor for sure, citrus, pine mainly, some earthiness and some light soapiness, sweet bready malt keeping it balanced.

Very hoppy aroma. Burnt orange color and thick cloudiness. Hoppy and bitter taste and similar finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Poured cloudy medium orange with a sticky white head. The aroma picked up fresh pine and detergenty hops over soft biscuity malt.. solid. The flavor found biscuit and caramel malts at the core with spicy pine, black pepper, and citrus bitterness around.. finished with residual citrus bitterness and belly warmth. Heavier-bodied with moderate carbonation.. creamy middle.. fairly good flow.

Pour is a murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is a nice resin hop with some caramel malt sweetness in he backround. Flavor is more hops with an almost black bread like malt bringing things up. The English pale malt I guess? Really a different malt bill to this one. Still, if your going to call your beer hopsauce it better be pretty damn hoppy and this fits the bill.

Might have had a bad or old bomber something was off with this one....hops was minimal...rerate in future.
