22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dull orange with a tiny white head. Nose brings out candied notes upfront, along with rich resinous hops, a touch of pine, and a seemingly large caramel malt backing. Flavour is similar, bringing out big resinous hops, some citrus and grapefruit, and a rich caramel malt backing that leaves some residual sugars. Each successive sip reveals the sweetness more and more, in cloying territory after a while. It’s not that lopsided, but this is certainly not at all my kind of IIPA. A cloyingly sweet, syrupy, over-malted IIPA here. Not my thing. chrisv10 (17942) - DENMARK - NOV 22, 2015
