COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First brewed in 2008 for batch # 3,000. This is our version of a Double India Pale Ale. This year we used almost 900 lbs of English pale malt, and over 40 lbs of hops in a 10 barrel batch. A nice golden color with aromas of pine, citrus and some earthy spicy notes. This is what hop lovers dream about. Get hopped up on the sauce.!

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Opaque and bright honey golden that wears a smaller soapy off white head. Nose is tangerine with citrus. A rich malt backbone. Feel is fairly thin and is oily. Flavor is hop forward with that tangerine, peach, floral, and pine. A classic in many ways but so easy to drink. It is almost like drinking fruit juice. Bitterness is moderate and alcohol is not tasted at all. The bitterness is more melon zest and is dry. A little yeast is tasted. The last sips I tasted some earthy bitterness that came along will oiliness. This beer is dangerous stuff!

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours golden orange with a white head that lasts and lasts. Nose of fruit, but stone and tropical, citrus, and floral hops. Full body. Smooth clean mouthfeel. The malts are there but its hop forward. There is pine now, and the citrus is behind the fruit and floral hops. The finish is bitter but not overly so. Very easy to drink for a DIPA. This is so wall balanced and delightful. A real winner.

22 oz bottle poured, purchased at City Beer. Pours a clean and clear golden color with a soap bubble head. Heavy hop aroma, a little piney, a little floral. Creamy. Spicy malt, juicy bitter citrus hop finish. Excellent hop profile. Gentle imperial here. Nicely done.

Bottle in Seattle. Thanks Andrew! Light cream, rich orange body. Subtle, tasty aroma of zest and pine. Heavy hop, clean sweet bitter. Resin, pine tips, sweet forest, very fresh. Much more earth than citrus. Pretty nice and tasty.
