It’s not often that I rate an IPA higher than it’s average, but this one stood out as being a full-flavored, smooth bitter beer. I had it on tap at Lamppost Pizza in Davis. It was the only brew there that I hadn’t had in the past. The flavor was citrusy, but very controlled and direct. A very drinkable IPA. hayduke (5209) - Eureka, California, USA - JAN 8, 2008
Not sure why I never saw this one before as it appears it must not get wide distribution. From a 22 oz bottle this poured a clear copper with a fat off-white head the left nice lacing rings in my Chimey glass. Nose of caramel malts and citrus hops. Very smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is mild malt and both piney and citrus hops. Long dry bitter finish. Very easy to drink. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 7, 2008
Bottle courtesy of DarkElf. Pours copper with a white rocky head. Smells earthy with some nice hints of citrus and sweet malt. Tastes of tea, some pine, earthy with a dry finish. ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 30, 2007
Appearance: Pours a clear, amber body with a thin, wispy off-white head.
Smell: Caramel maltiness with some honeylike hints and scents of citrus and pine.
Taste: Caramel malts with a drizzle of honey and a medium level of sweetness. Forward hop flavors of citrus and pine. Moderate hop bitterness. Slightly acidic. Finishes expectantly dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Drinkability: Not exactly the most memorable beer around, but it’s still a solid representative of the style. bgburdman9 (861) - columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 29, 2007
Aroma had a light citrus hoppines and a mild maltiness. Flavor was a little hoppy but not overaly flavorful. Not a bad IPA by any means but it would not stand out in a line up.

$2.99 Bomber from Bottle Barn; Nose of light piney hops; ligthly hazed amber-orange witha medium straw head; flavor is piney hop bitterness, actually a very good single IPA! Shag (3001) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - DEC 18, 2007
This one poured a copper color. The aroma is floral with some oranges and peaches showing. The flavor has some sour aspects to it. Its moderately bitter with some lemons and grapefruit. Overall not bad at all. SSSteve (4006) - - DEC 18, 2007

22oz bottle dated 9/13/07. thanks to SDbruboy for this. pours orange golden with white head. nose is citrus and piney hop notes. flavor is crisp and lively hop notes of citrus, piney, pretty fruity orangy with spicy overtones. lacks some good malt base and the hop profile is sort of an odd mix of fruit and spice. a nice ipa but nothing special. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 17, 2007
