On draft @ Mattie’s, Elko, NV. Pours a thick solid dark brown. Not much in the way of aroma. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate. Easy drinking although unspectacular.

Got this on draft at the Whispering Elms Bar in Baker, Nevada st the foot of Great Basin National Park. Pours brown in color with a light tan head. Nose of roasted malts, chocolate, and coffee. Medium body. Kind of a thin mouthfeel Flavor is a bit earthy along with the roasted malts. The finish is earthy and bitter. Decent.

Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2014
0.355l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a deep dark ruby red colored one, it also has a small softly lacing dark beige top. Strange nose. Some old sun damaged chocolate and old brownie cake glazing. Sour cocoa butter with yeast and traces of phenol. Not a super aroma, but I think this is quite a old bottle. It has a just above average carbonation level, the small prickling kind and it feels thin oily in the mouth. Doesn’t taste all that bad really. Softly roasted with a gentle nice sweetness. Dry cocoa powder, nugatti and it’s rounded off with traces of burned sour thin coffee. Quite strange, but actually not bad. Just old. Older than it should be. 15.01.2014

IndianaRed (4619) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 9, 2014
On Tap at the original Brewforia Beer Market, Meridian, ID Deep dark brown with redish edges, Full thick lasting light tan head. Nutty light toasted malt aroma. Sweet woody brown malt flavors. Some sweetness and a little of that sourness that some browns and porters have. Nice finish. Papery trailer.

"i was hoping northern Nevada would be represented better than this, especially being that their Angel Creek Amber is so good...but this beer is weak & boring, even if it were classified as a brown. worst porter i’ve ever had."

stevoj (5040) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 8, 2014
Dark, dark brown, near black pour with small tight beige head. Slightly smoky, nutty aroma and taste, medium weight and creamy mouth feel. not too bad.

alexsdad06 (10416) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2014

Inbreak (6025) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - JAN 18, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 15.01.2014, 0,33l bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is strange fruity, tangerine, unripe banana, grapefruit, grass. Taste is caramel malts, nuts, hay, grain, grass, chocolate, hints of cardboard. Medium bitterness, very thin body. Boring.

ej (1330) - Hauglandshella, NORWAY - JAN 15, 2014
Brown murky pour with a fast subsiding tan head. Aroma is somewhat sweet and estery like overripe banana. Taste is very moderate roasty, bready maltyness and a bit too faint all around. Slightly watery.
