UPDATED: AUG 16, 2017 Generally I'm not a Greene King person, but Ruddles Best is a great beer. I had a few pints of this at Sculthorpe Mill in Norfolk.

Cask - amber brown, clear, small off white head. Decent fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel - easy drinking. Decent tasting, bit fruity with bitter finish.

Cask. Pours amber body and white foam top. Aroma is floral with a little fruit. Pale malts and hoppy fruits. A pleasant balanced finish for this bog-standard bitter.

Cask @ The Jubilee Oak JDW, Crawley. Crystal clear copper brown, handsome, white, well defined head that lasts. Decent lacing. Good looking pint. Aroma: lacking. Weak bread, malt. Taste: weak fruit, malt, caramel, slight acetyl, long moderate bitter finish with sour notes, definitely this ales strong point. Palate, thin to moderate body, smooth, lingering. Overall cheap but uninspiring, would probably bemore interesting if brewed to a higher ABV. Fine, but I’d rather be drinking somethin else.
