Cask, Handpumpe. Deep red/brown with a dense off-white small head. Aromas are light malts with a soft fruitiness. Earthy and dry with floral hopping. Flavours are dry biscuit malts with some fruit. Dry on the finish. A bit thin in flavour.

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and reddish/orange with a lacing white head. Light fruity hops aroma. Flavour is light fruity and fresh. Fruity finish with a light bitterness.

[Cask at Cockney Pub] A dark orange beer with no head. The aroma is very faint with fruity notes. The flavor is very nice; sweet, fruity, casky and very bitter from a great hop. The bitterness lingers on the tongue. A great beer that invites to another pint.

Cask at Charlies Bar. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and mint. Fruity flavour of caramel, bread, grass and hops. Hoppy finish.

Casked. Copper/ruby coloured, small beige head. Aroma is sweet caramellish malts and fruits. Flavour is sugary and fruity. Very smooth palate and flavour. Some weak wooden hints also there. Fresh cask! I actually like the bottled version better than the cask.

Cask at Churchkey. Sparkler used. Reminds me of the days I lived almost in the shadow of the brewery, in Barton Mills, not far from Bury. Clear golden color, thick white head (that’s the sparkler at work). Aroma of lemon peel and citrus. Sweet start, followed by a soft bitterness with a bit of lemon peel. Very pleasant stuff, a perfect session beer.

Dark amber, musky fruit nose, hint of sour apple (not pleasent) with a bitterlinger.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 15, 2011
Cask. Clear amber with a small off-white head leaving laces. Nutty aroma. Medium body, nuts, candy sugar and a fairly decent hopping in the finish. 261011
