Amber colour, small off-white head, leaving some lace. Aroma is apples, some bready malts, mild cardboard and fruits. Flavour is apple, cardboard, some bready malts as well as earthyness.
Fynske Øldage 2005, Odense. This nice golden beer has been added apple juice - and You are not in doubt! Both aroma and flavour has apple notes, but not in a too dominant way. it also has notes of roasted malt, caramel and sweetness. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2007
Amber coloured beer. Fruity aroma. To tastse sweet malt with a bitter finish, not as much apple as I expected and more hops but still terrible. Nasty stuff. cgarvieuk (24156) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2007

Bitter with just a trace of apple.Strange gritty flavour which is not particullarly pleasant. Seems like an experiment that went wrong. saxo (18208) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2006
Bottle. Small head with short duration. Color is amber. Aroma is fmalt and hops and maybe some fruit. Taste is bittersweet with some apple. Tranquillity (2251) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 22, 2006
Dark colour, like watery cola or cinnamon. Not much head. The aroma is hard to give a number; on one hand, it’s sweet apple cider with faint whisky notes. On the other hand it’s dishwashing liquid. Since the first aroma would give 8 and the second 1, I will give 5. The beer is very dry, good indeed! in the middle some nuts and cognac and a long, but not very strong, finish of apple skin (not in a bad way). Good but nothing special. Bottle Sainsburys, Kidlington. Thought that I had already rated this having tried the cask version of this last night, and this bottled version few weeks back. Apple flavoured beer mmhhh... it’s never really gonna’ be a winner is it? Amber coloured, with quite a fruity, zesty flavour with a bitterness at the end, ok so I sort of knew I wouldn’t like it but to fair it wasn’t as bad as I expected. A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Shamansburys. Iknew this was going to be crap. Can’t help myself really. Aroma is not actually that bad. A sweetish English ale with just a hint of the apples. Colour is reasonable. A very vivid medium brown but the total lack of head other than what looks like a pool of spit in the middle of the glass does not do it any favours. Flavour is rank. Acrid and synthetic throughout. Clearly pasturised and it suffers as a result like all pasturised beers do. Off milk tarty zing for the finish that is the best thing about this beer but only because you have got the unpleasant experience over with. Don’t think I will finish all of this. Go out and buy some it’s great.
