Cask conditioned handpump Althorp Coaching Inn Great Brington 15/06/12. A brown beer with a white head. A malty beer with crunchy grains. Some berry fruit. A bit of wood. Leafy hops. Very English and quite ordinary.

Cask at Dewsbury Beer Festival. Rich auburn beer with thin white head. Blackcurrants and malts on nose. Maltiness right through the drink, wheaty and full. Little woody. Finish dry and bitter.

Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Amber with a thin head. Aromas are weetabix and toffee with woody notes. Black tea with mixed spices. Flavours are dry black tea with hints of hazelnut. Burnt toffee with quite a lot of spiciness. Dry on the finish. A bit thin. OK.
