Cask in Dog and Duck. Pours reddish. Thin White head. Nose is sweet fruity malt. Taste is sweet fruity malt. Feels like it’s been dry hopped which is odd for mild. Dry chalkiness on the tongue. Not blowing me away and not sure about the dryness.

berkshirejohn (6662) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2011
Cask at the Falcon, Claphm Junction. Deep ruby colour with a scummy looking cream head; aroma of deep roasted malts with a hint of chocolate; rich chocolate malt flavour with a floury body; a gentle but deep bitterness balances against the sweet purple fruit, before a long dry finish. An excellent mild.

Leighton (22328) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2011
Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Pours a clear, ruby-brown with no head. A bit of roasty malts and dark fruits in the aroma. Very good, balaned flavor. Certainly dark, roasty malts, sweet toffee, brown sugar, mild coffee, some leafy bitterness. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Semi-dry, roasted malt finish with some nice sugars, slight bread, slight leafy bitterness. Solid beer.

From cask Dark ruby red colour with creamy beige head. Black malt shows off in aroma, along with a clear fruitiness. The flavour is really fruity with hints of chocolate powder and berries. Soft beer with low bitterness.

rauchbier (3934) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2010
Bottle, from Asda Grimsby. Deep ruby red, thin but lasting off white head and gentle condition. Complex nose that starts with a fruity tanginess before shifting to a sweet chocolate powder note and a faint suggestion of burnt toffee, in the mouth though its all quite muted, with some background fruitiness and a gentle chocolate powder bitterness, finish is brief, muted and vaguely suggestive of bitter chocolate.
