Cask at The Waterhouse (JDW), Durham, £2.05/pint.
Pours deep, reddish brown with lasting, creamy head. Damp, earthy aroma leads to some malty, cereal, caramel and hay flavour with light smokiness. A little thin on the palate and on the whole a simple, effective beer. jjsint (3116) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2015

A decent stab at a ruby ale froma decent brewery, but lack of carbonation and lack of depth means a fairly average score only. mR_fr0g (12128) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2015
