Its reputation goes before. Excellent colour with nice shading. Nuts in the scent. Malt on the tongue. A pleasing sweetness. And at a strength where one can have a second glass. Accolades deserved. edsspoon (905) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2015

On cask this was an 8/10 -richly bready, sweet, nutty, smooth, nourishing. From a bottle it?s a 3/10 - thin, acrid, harsh like fruit skin. Milds and pasteurised bottling are not happy bedfellows. martinrumsam (586) - BARNSTAPLE, Devon, ENGLAND - SEP 11, 2014
